Churches

There are more than seventy churches in England  which are dedicated to Botolph.

The largest is “The Stump” which is to be found in “Botolph’s Town” know known as Boston in Lincolnshire.

The Stump shares with  St. Botolph’s Church in Iken, Suffolk, the honour of having been suggested as the possible site of  Botolph’s famous monastery, Icanho.

One of the quaintest Botolph churches is St. Botolph’s  in the village of Botolphs, in West Sussex.

There are other connections with Botolph in Scandinavia and the United States of America.

Please note: The map has been put together to show as best as possible the location of St Botolph's churches.  If you have a more accurate location of any of the above churches, then please let us know by emailing us.
